Regional Executive – Credit (AVP/VP) – National Bank of Pakistan
National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) is looking for a talented, experienced professional for the position of Regional Executive – Credit (AVP/VP) in its Risk Management area.
### Position
Regional Executive – Credit (AVP / VP)
### Reporting to
Credit Hub Head – Credit Risk Management Division
### Educational / Professional Qualification
- Minimum Graduation or equivalent from a local or international university/college/institute recognized by HEC Pakistan
- Candidates with a Master's degree and/or other relevant certification(s) will be preferred
### Experience
- Minimum 6 years of banking experience, including at least 4 years in Commercial and/or SME banking (business and/or risk management side)
### Skills / Expertise Required
- Leadership & people management
- Credit risk assessment skills for SME/Commercial
- Exposure to agricultural lending is an advantage
- Knowledge of SBP's Prudential Regulations
- Understanding of different types of collaterals
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Problem solving & decision making
- Ability to apply sector and economic knowledge to judge specific credits
### Main Duties / Responsibilities
- Exercise delegated credit approval authority to approve/recommend SME, Commercial, and agriculture credit proposals (conventional and Islamic banking) for the region
- Manage a team of credit officers in the region
- Assist and support the Credit Hub Head and Senior Credit Officer with credit review, assessment, and monitoring
- Liaise with business, CAD, audit, and other stakeholders at the regional level
- Address audit observations (internal and external) and minimize recurrence
- Ensure all processes are completed within the specified turnaround time
- Monitor the credit portfolio for early warnings; maintain portfolio MIS and staff data
- Train and develop the team, including succession planning
- Perform other assignments as directed by supervisors
### Place of Posting
Bannu, Gilgit, Gwadar, Jhelum, and Multan
### Employment Type
Contractual, for three years, renewable at Management's discretion. Compensation as per Bank policy.
