Eligibility Criteria
1. Director – Karachi
- Qualification: LL.B. or LL.M. from an HEC-recognized university.
- Advocacy experience: At least 13 years enrolled as an Advocate of the High Court, with active practice.
- Professional experience: At least 15 years of relevant post-qualification experience.
- Preferred expertise: Independent handling of corporate and criminal prosecution, including white-collar crime, regulatory matters, corporate litigation and advisory work.
- Maximum age: 50 years.
2. Additional Director – Islamabad
- Qualification: LL.B. or LL.M. from an HEC-recognized university.
- Advocacy experience: At least 10 years as an Advocate of the High Court with active practice.
- Professional experience: At least 12 years of relevant post-qualification experience.
- Preferred expertise: Corporate and criminal prosecution, regulatory matters, corporate litigation and advisory work.
- Maximum age: 45 years.
3. Joint Director – Islamabad
- Qualification: LL.B. or LL.M. from an HEC-recognized university.
- Advocacy experience: At least 8 years as an Advocate of the High Court with active practice.
- Professional experience: At least 10 years of relevant post-qualification experience.
- Preferred expertise: Corporate and criminal prosecution, regulatory matters, corporate litigation and advisory work.
- Maximum age: 45 years.
4. Deputy Director – Islamabad and Lahore
- Qualification: LL.B. or LL.M. from an HEC-recognized university.
- Advocacy experience: At least 4 years as an Advocate of the High Court with active practice.
- Professional experience: At least 6 years of relevant post-qualification experience in corporate-related litigation and prosecution, including 4 years as an Advocate of the High Court.
- Maximum age: 40 years.
- Age relaxation: Candidates with at least 3 years of work experience with a regulator will be given a relaxation of 5 years, as stated in the advertisement.
Preference for candidates: The advertisement states that preference may be given to candidates with a Bar-at-Law qualification after LL.B. or an LL.M. degree, together with experience in regulatory bodies, companies, corporate litigation and practice.
Nature of Employment
- All appointments will initially be contractual for three years.
- The contract may be extended based on organizational requirements and performance.
- The Commission may consider regularization after three years, subject to fulfillment of the prescribed criteria.
