Pakistan Reinsurance Company Limited (PRCL) has announced new career opportunities for experienced professionals in the insurance and reinsurance sector. The company is inviting applications from qualified candidates for three senior management positions.
These vacancies offer an opportunity to work with a government-controlled organization operating under the administrative control of the Ministry of Commerce, Government of Pakistan. Selected candidates will receive market-competitive salaries under the applicable Monetized Salary Policy (MSP).

Pakistan Reinsurance Company Limited has announced the following vacancies:
- Head of Claims – MSPS-8 (1 Vacancy)
- Head of Retrocession – MSPS-7 (1 Vacancy)
- Head of Risk Management – MSPS-6 (1 Vacancy)
There is one vacancy for each position.
1. Head of Claims – MSPS-8
Number of Vacancies: 01
Maximum Age: 50 years
Candidates must meet one of the following qualification and experience requirements:
- Advanced Diploma in Insurance (ACI) with at least six years of experience in a general insurance or reinsurance company, Takaful operator, or insurance/reinsurance broker.
- Preference will be given to candidates with experience in reinsurance and retro-Takaful placements, underwriting, or claims.
OR
- Master's or Bachelor's degree (16 years of education) in Insurance, Risk Management, Actuarial Science, Commerce, Economics, or Finance from an HEC-recognized university.
- Alternatively, Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) or Diploma in Insurance (CII).
- At least eight years of experience in general insurance, reinsurance, Takaful, or insurance/reinsurance brokerage.
Preference will be given to candidates with relevant reinsurance, retro-Takaful, underwriting, and claims experience.
2. Head of Retrocession – MSPS-7
Number of Vacancies: 01
Maximum Age: 50 years
Applicants must fulfill one of these requirements:
- Advanced Diploma in Insurance (ACI) with at least six years of experience in a general insurance or reinsurance company, Takaful operator, or insurance/reinsurance broker.
- Relevant experience in reinsurance and retro-Takaful placements, underwriting, or claims will be preferred.
OR
- Master's or Bachelor's degree with 16 years of education in Insurance, Risk Management, Actuarial Science, Commerce, Economics, or Finance from an HEC-recognized university.
- Alternatively, CPCU or Diploma in Insurance (CII).
- At least eight years of relevant experience in general insurance, reinsurance, Takaful, or insurance/reinsurance brokerage.
Candidates with practical experience in reinsurance and retro-Takaful placements will receive preference.
3. Head of Risk Management – MSPS-6
Number of Vacancies: 01
Maximum Age: 50 years
Candidates must meet one of the following criteria:
Option A:
- Advanced Diploma in Insurance (ACI).
- At least six years of experience in a general insurance company or Takaful operator.
- This experience must include at least three years in the Risk Management Department.
OR
Option B:
- Master's or Bachelor's degree with 16 years of education in Insurance and Risk Management, Commerce, or Finance from an HEC-recognized university.
- Alternatively, CPCU or Diploma in Insurance (CII).
- At least eight years of experience in a general insurance company or Takaful operator.
- This experience must include at least four years in the Risk Management Department.
Age Limit and Employment Details
The maximum age limit for all three positions is 50 years as of the closing date of the advertisement.
The appointments will be:
- Full-time positions.
- On a gratuity-based, non-pensionable basis.
- Under the Monetized Salary Policy (MSP).
- Offered with a market-competitive salary package.
