Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced a career opportunity for the position of Assistant Manager Procurement. The selected professional will assist with procurement activities and contract-management processes to ensure the timely, compliant and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services.

Required Education
Applicants must possess at least a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement or another relevant discipline. Familiarity with ERP or procurement-management systems is also required.
Required Experience
Candidates should have:
- At least five years of professional experience in government procurement or contract management.
- At least two years of experience working with or providing services to government, semi-government or autonomous organizations.
- Practical knowledge of PPRA and EPAD requirements.
- Experience in drafting, reviewing and managing contracts.
- Knowledge of legal and regulatory compliance related to procurement or public-sector projects.
Competency Requirements
The ideal candidate should possess:
- Strong knowledge of PPRA rules and public-sector procurement frameworks.
- Familiarity with ERP or procurement-management systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and document-management tools.
- The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- High standards of ethics, transparency and accountability.
Main Responsibilities
The Assistant Manager Procurement will:
- Assist in planning and executing procurement activities for goods, services and works.
- Prepare and process purchase requisitions, RFQs, RFPs and tenders.
- Ensure compliance with applicable procurement rules and regulatory frameworks.
- Coordinate with departments to understand procurement needs, technical specifications and delivery requirements.
- Support contract drafting, purchase orders and vendor agreements.
- Communicate with vendors to ensure timely delivery and quality compliance.
- Maintain complete and accurate procurement records, contracts and supporting documents.
